Our programs give women current and vital information to help them reduce their risk for breast cancer and learn the most effective methods of early detection.

Risk factors for breast cancer associated with lifestyle CAN be changed. Using this positive approach, we create a comfortable learning environment and enlighten women by giving them practical and life-saving skills. The Maurer Foundation's programs stress the importance of early detection with respect to changes in women's breast tissue. Our certified educators teach women to use the most current and proven methods available to detect breast changes. We explain and discuss factors that may influence a women's risk for developing breast cancer. Women receive our classes in high schools, colleges, community centers, corporations and businesses.
