Long Island Elite Announces New Executive Leadership Team
The Long Island Elite (LIE) recently announced its newly elected Executive Team to help facilitate its business networking and philanthropy events for the next two years. The following slate of officers will serve from January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2023.
Frank Morizio, Jr., was elected President of the Long Island Elite and is responsible for leading the executive team and overall strategy of the organization. Morizio is a Managing Director for Enhanced Funding Solutions, LLC, a specialty financial services firm with expertise in premium-financed life insurance. He lives in Oceanside with his wife Maria and their two teenage children.
Benjamin Cooper was elected Vice President of the Long Island Elite and is responsible for strategy development and implementation for the organization. Cooper is a Vice President, Business Banking Relationship Manager & Commercial Lender for the bank providing financing & deposit services to businesses that generate between $5MM & $50MM in revenue and commercial real estate owners. He resides in Northport with his wife Georgiana and their three children.
Chris Lowenberg, CPA, was elected Treasurer of the Long Island Elite. He is responsible for the financial affairs of the organization including all donations to LIE’s Charity Partner of the Year. Lowenberg is a Partner at Fuller Lowenberg & Co., CPAs, P.C., a full service accounting firm specializing in assurance, tax and advisory services for small to mid-sized businesses in the tri-state area. He resides in Bay Shore with his wife Alexa and daughter.
Mark Angarola was elected Secretary of the Long Island Elite. He is responsible for the books and records of the organization and is the lead on engagement related activities. Angarola is the owner of HARDHATS, an application that connects contractors with workers and vice versa, using technology to connect construction companies with their most valuable asset. Mark resides in Long Beach with this wife Allison.
The Long Island Elite recently announced its 2021 donation of $200,000 to its not-for-profit, charity partner of the year, SIBS Place. This is the largest single donation this group of business professionals has provided in its 19-year history. With this donation, the Long Island Elite has now raised more than $1,000,000 for local Long Island not-for-profit organizations.
