Long Island, NY – Long Island Elite (LIE), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to fostering the growth and development of local Long Island business professionals and emerging regional leaders to further support local philanthropy, is proud to recognize Joseph Calamia as its 2025 Member of the Year. Calamia was awarded this honor for his contributions to the philanthropic group at the organization’s annual fundraising gala, supporting its Charity Partner of the Year, HorseAbility. Through his leadership in these endeavors, members and LIE supporters have engaged in a variety of experiences, all while supporting a local Long Island not-for-profit organization.

He has shared his extensive knowledge with his peers and business owners by leading numerous seminars throughout the country. Earning a Master’s Degree in Taxation from SUNY Old Westbury, Calamia also graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Briarcliffe College.
